Background:
Faelyn was abandoned on the steps of a temple in nothing but her swaddling with her name pinned upon it. She was raised in the faith of Selûne and taught the art of magic. Faelyn was a quiet child, with both human and elf features, but she was treated no different by anyone.
Always studying, either the history of her faith or her spells, Fae was considered very powerful as well. Her ability to learn magic was extraordinary, she could heal those who were injured or cause quite a bit of damage when she was angered. In a fit of rage, Faelyn burned a wing of the temple, no one was hurt thankfully, but she was remorseful for her actions. She could not put the exact cause of her anger together. Was it because she was a Half-Elf, or because she abandoned? Was her mother ashamed? She didn't know any answers to these questions.
When felt she was old enough, Faelyn left the temple to journey into the world to practice her magic and find others of her faith. Deep inside, she prayed that Selûne would lead her to answers and give her strength when she found them.
