Even battered and bruised, Claw is still in much better shape than his deceased companion. Worgs are not the smartests creatures around the block, but they still have some discernment. The dwarf had chopped of its ear, but that damned human had fooled him with that second strike and it had costed him his teeth. The precious little teeth he'd later be using to fets on their rotting corspes. That was unforgivable.

Rising to his back legs, the worg hurls all his weight against the paladin. His jaws open, dripping a mix of thick saliva and warm blook, he closes them around Eredin forearm tearing apart the mail and gnawing flesh and bone.

The loud noises of the fight caught the attention of the rest of the Goblin party who had been raiding the town. The moment they hear the first worg wince in pain, they stop whatever they are pillaging and follow the sound of battle coming from the Central Square. They stand at the Edge of the open area with their bows at hand, aiming their feathers at the cursed humies who just killed their means of transportation. Aestro didn't cry like a baby, but he did curse a lot. And he didn't curse in some dead language, but in a very modern one that possessed a plethora of easily pronounced profanity. O After the initial flurry of swears, he turned his attention to the newcomers and attempts another eldritch blast on Jil.

The air around the Baron's hand cracked, little fireworks of a color unpersievable by the human explode on the tip of his fingers. This never happened before, and Aestro it's pretty sure it'a not supposed to. He wonders for a brief second if he should have actually tries casting that spell.

A bead of cold swat runs down te Baron's forehead as the moments of antecipation lead to an underwhelming nothing. The spell fades and Aestro is left pointing like and idiot.

The first Goblin doesn't even have time to grab an arrow from its quiver, the Party only hears the loud whizzing of an arrow and then the cries of pain of Jil, the Goblin. If they look back to see whre the arrow came from, they see a blonde haired elven lady with a bow taking aim at their foes.

Alain saw one of the goblins go down and looked for the source of the arrow before turning to the baron's bodyguard. "Are you a knight or a chew toy?" she shouted, feeling like normal encouragement would not have worked as well for an individual of Eredin's psyche.
Then, she focused on the remaining goblin, singing her spell out loud this time, seeing as the target was further away.

As enraged by the bard's condescending word as the excruciating pain of teeth in giant arm, Eredin attempted to hack the beast to pieces. It was not the first time he has been cut to the bone, but it was never a feeling one became accustomed to.

Eredin goes for the execution, bringing the scythe from over his head downwards. The beast is rather fast, although the Paladin had a great positioning, the blade just slashes against the worg's neck, leaving a small cut on its neck.1d10+3

Orirdrik is about to do his axe into the beast twice to work out some anger issues but then his eyes fall on the knight standing beside him. The knight looked like a strong breeze would put him on his ass. Grim reached out to the great and divine power that Clangeddin Silverbeard offered to him. He filled with a righteous power. His holy symbol burned against his neck. He placed his hand against the bleeding knight and channeled healing power into the Human.

Claw goes for a more ambitious bite now, he pounces closing his jaw around Eredin's neck.

The bite misses the throat, but gets the paladin on the collar bone with a crunch. The worg trashes Eredin's limp body before throwing it to the side. Eyes read with anger, he now faces the other dwarf, fangs bared and red with blood.

Aestro sees his dying bodyguard and briefly considers letting him die and fleeing. They weren't exactly friends. Aestro knew perfectly well he annoyed the man. But still, Eredin had been his only real companion, and he couldn't bear the thought of traveling the road alone.
So he cast Eldritch Blast again, praying to the Great Beyonder that he survives this next spell attack with his hands and face intact. He aimed for the wretched worg again.
