Yes, something about the site design and rules feels familiar but I can't quite put my finger on it...
I'm currently torn between an Oathbreaker Paladin or a Dex based mercenary fighter.

I have no problem with it, as long as he is manageable in a generally "Good" party and can get along with his buddies. (For the beginning at least)

Still somewhat undecided on character. Either going Ranger or Sorcerer, but I haven't had enough time to give it any serious thought... I also need to read the Player Handbook again. When are you planning first day of campaign, Jon?

I do believe it will still take some time. But well, let's see... I have an exam today and two next week. Then 600 words of an article due July 9th and a 1000 word exam, probably due around the same period. So probably sometime after June 29th.

For those who don't have it, there's a 5e character creation apps that makes tracking your character super easy.
With all the rogues and casters, I may end up switching to a strength fighter or paladin just so our party doesn't have that gap. I'll wait and see though.
