Eredin sighed, his secret ambition of being an engineer dashed. He supposed he would always just be a killer.
He removed the rope from his bag, tied one end around his waist and secured the other to the edge of the moat with one of the pitons. "Be prepared to help pull us up," he instructed the warlock, before jumping in after their fleeing captive.
